Strengthening Community Safety in Vaughan-Woodbridge

Published on November 09, 2021

"Nothing is more important than the safety of our residents in Vaughan-Woodbridge,” said MPP Michael Tibollo. “Through the Community Safety and Policing grant program, we are helping build safer communities as well as ensuring our police services have the resources they need to address the issues that matter most in our communities and do their jobs effectively.”

This will help police services across the province combat crime and keep communities safe by investing $267.6 million over three years through the province’s Community Safety and Policing (CSP) Grant program. Through the CSP Grant program, eligible police services are provided with funding to support the implementation of public safety and community policing initiatives that focus on local and provincial priorities such as community outreach programs, human trafficking and guns and gang violence.
